Mason County Waste Disposal
The Solid Waste Program is your resource for waste prevention, recycling, garbage and hazardous waste questions. On this page you will find links to more detailed information about programs and services in Mason County.
Roosevelt Regional Landfill is a state-of-the-art operation that receives Mason County waste. Each year, Roosevelt creates enough energy to power more than 30, 000 homes by converting methane gas to electricity. Republic Services' long-standing partnership with Klickitat County and the Klickitat County PUD is as important today as it was when Roosevelt was just a "sketch on the drawing board." Superior engineering, vigorous regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship are foundational elements of Roosevelt Regional Landfill.
